We’ve been in this ‘game’ for a few years now and have racked up a hundred, getting close to two hundred web design/graphic design projects. Like any job, there are positives and negatives, but the thing we really enjoy is meeting up with our clients.
We like our clients to be hands on and involved in every step of the process, and we also like drinking their cups of tea, so we try to get out and about as much as possible. Now, we don’t know if this is just a Yorkshire thing, or even a Northern thing, but our customers really seem to appreciate face-to-face interactions. These days it isn’t very common, particularly in the technology/communicaitons industry, but we are glad that our clients enjoy seeing us.
Getting a website put together can be a daunting thing, especially to those who haven’t the foggiest how it all works (no offence, but that is a lot of you!) Talking over the phone and by email can be easy and convenient, but to really put a point across, you can’t beat sitting across a table and having a natter.
To us, it’s all part of the service. To you, it might seem minor and not worth reading about, but we are sure there are a lot of you out there who know where we are coming from here, so we just thought we would mention it like. YORKSHIRE web design!
