Responsive websites are a must these days. Gone are the days of pinching, scrolling and zooming on our phones and iPads, as a user we expect a website to be easy to view and use, no matter what device we are on.

A responsive website should fit any type of device (laptop, tablet, phone) or browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Safari). We achieve this by using a fluid framework when it comes to building the site, so that elements of the page automatically resize or move position to ensure everything fits on screen.

I don’t like to go on too much in these posts, so I’ve posted an article below if you want to read some more about the subject, but with Google’s recent announcement about it’s new ‘mobile friendly’ badge, it is now more important than ever to go responsive!
